UAB Imunodiagnostika is a privately held company based in Vilnius, Lithuania with an innovative approach to allergy.

The Center was established in 2013 for the purpose of implementing the long-term experience in diagnosis of allergic diseases and development of innovative biotechnological tools for allergy diagnostics and treatment.

Establishment of infrastructure of laboratories as well as development of new biotechnological products in the Center was partially financed by the European Union under the programs INTELEKTAS LT+ and INTELEKTAS LT projects “Innovation in allergy diagnostics” and “Innovative tools for allergy diagnostics and treatment”. The projects are still under implementation.

Today, the Center of Innovative Immunodiagnostics consists of two main departments – Allergomedica clinics and R & D department.
Allergomedica clinics provides patients with personal allergy profiles and immunotherapy decisions. Highly qualified professionals – doctors allergologists and clinical immunologists as well as laboratory specialists work in one team to give the most optimal solution to every patient.
One of the latest and unique both in Lithuania and all over the world product, developed by us, is the personalized allergy diagnosis program Allergomedica. The program may be acquired online via sophisticated platform www.allergomedica.lt The test samples, collected within Imunodiagnostika partners are exclusively performed in Allergomedica clinical reference laboratory.
Scientific technological and experimental progress of the R&D department is directed to the development of new biotechnological tools for allergy diagnostics, treatment and science.
Now are implementing a project “Innovation in allergy diagnostics”, the aim of which is to develop a set of MA against allergen components. Our partner in this project is the scientific institution with a strong expertise in development and characterization of monoclonal and recombinant antibodies. More than 500 different MA were developed in this laboratory. Together with our partners we are also able to develop MA for allergen components with short and non-immunogenic protein sequences (virus-like particles technology).
A set of different clones MA to timothy components Php l 1 and Php l 5 are our first products. A long list of other MA’s is already in development process.
Another project, recently started, is the development of plant recombinant allergen components using Nicotiana benthamiana expression system. The project is performed in close partnership with scientific laboratory of Eukaryote Gene Engineering.

Besides the aforementioned projects, the Center of Innovative Immunodiagnostics carries out the unique biomedical test of allergic people that has no analogue in Lithuania. The test consists of testing blood of allergic people for sensitivity to 18 different allergens and even 38 their components. This shall allow the scientists and medical professionals in more detail to find out the main causes (allergens) sensitizing the Lithuanian population and select suitable immunotherapy medications. The test is performed with the Center of Pulmonology and Allergy of PI Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Clinics.
The scientific researches for bachelor’s and master’s studies are carried out in the Center by students of Faculty of Natural Sciences and Faculty of Medicine of the Vilnius University.

3 key principles that we uphold

We initiate the scientific progress in the country in order for the comprehensive allergy diagnostics to become available to everyone.

We are aiming for maximal results for our patients while cooperating with the world's leading companies in the field of allergy.

Evidence-based medicine

We are following the most novel; however, clinically and evidence-based medicine.
